Tips For preparing For Ramazan


*Set your goals for the month and creat a Personal Action Plan ]


*Read up on the Ramadan and Eid do's and don'ts

*Calculate your Zakat

*Get a hold of your local Prayer and Tarawih times

*Plan your days and evenings

*Store dates, food, provisions and gifts

*Less TV, Mobile and Internet use- More Quran, Prayers, Dhikr & Charity

*Plan Dawah activities in your community

*Start reading the Quran everyday after Fajr prayers upto sunrise.

*Spend some time listening to recitations from the Quran.

*Train yourself to go bed early so that you do not miss the Fajr prayers.

*Keep yourself in a state of Wudu most of the time.

*Evaluate yourself each day before going to bed.

*Thank Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for good deeds, and repent to Him for your mistakes and sins.

*Give yourself time alone, so that you can meditate, make dhikr and tasbeeh.

*Start giving Sadaqah each day, no matter how little. Make it a habit like eating and drinking.

*Spend more time reading Islamic books, especially the Quran, Seerah, Hadith, and Fiqh.

*Find time to help others with your wisdom, knowledge and talent.

*Focus on the quality and not the quantity of your worship, try to do it with perfection.

May we act upon this advise and make the most of this Ramadan InshAllah.
